Share A Coke – AI Recreation Study
A shot-by-shot AI recreation of Coca-Cola's 45-second “Share a Coke” ad, made to test how closely generative video can match a high-end commercial.
This is a recreation of an existing commercial. The original story, shots and idea belong to the brand and its agency. The work shown here is our recreation of it.
About this study
This project is a technical study. We took Coca-Cola’s 45-second “Who will you share a Coke with?” commercial and rebuilt it entirely with AI video tools. We broke the original down into 25 shots, logged each cut’s timing, camera move, lighting, wardrobe and on-screen graphics, and wrote a detailed prompt for every shot. We then generated the film in five segments, kept characters and lighting consistent across them, and finished it with editing, motion graphics and a colour grade. The goal was to see how close AI can get to a polished, multi-location commercial, and to learn where it still needs a human hand.
Our role
Shot breakdown, prompt writing, AI video generation, editing, motion graphics and colour grade.
What we were exploring
Can a single creator, using generative video, reproduce the pacing, camera language and visual polish of a big-budget brand film? The study focuses on three hard problems: keeping three characters consistent across four locations, matching fast 1 to 2.5 second cuts, and tracking floating UI graphics into live-action-style footage.
